We are integrating Paynow Express Checkout and consistently receive the error:
status=Error&error=Status not set.
Our outgoing POST data (fields) is as follows:

- All fields are trimmed of whitespace.
- The phone number is sent without a leading zero, as required.
- The hash is generated as per your documentation:
id+reference+amount+returnurl+resulturl+key(SHA512, uppercase). - The
methodis set toecocash, which is enabled on our account.
Despite this, we always get “Status not set.”
- Our integration ID and key are correct and active.
- All required fields are present and correctly named.
Can you please check on your end why this request is not being accepted, or if there are any additional requirements for our integration?
